A little sweetness at Maldon’s Twilight Dinner

Maldon’s main street was taken over once again by the famous Twilight Dinner, helped along with our new Beeliner truck that made its debut barricading one end. And if you were lucky enough to nab a table, you may have also noticed a tiny jar of Warral honey sporting the new logo in the hamper that focused on local produce, accompanying some beautiful local brie and bread. A great way to help launch the new look!

Managing COVID-19 at Warral HQ

We hope everyone is staying safe at home and keeping well. As for us, beekeeping is an essential service as its role in Australia’s agricultural supply chain and food production. We’re taking this responsibility very seriously and have established a set of guidelines so our employees can safely continue to produce, package and deliver Warral Honey for our customers. Thank you for your continued support.

Lindsay on the radio

You might’ve heard Lindsay on the local airwaves back in January as he had a chat with Ia

n and Neil on their ‘In Maldon Today’ Show. They had a lot to ask of Maldon’s preeminent bee expert, in

cluding the effect of the bushfires on the honey industry, the importance of bees in pollination for Australian horticulture and how many times he’s been stung (a lot). And throughout the whole show the gents only played songs about honey – think the Beach Boys’ Wild Honey and Honey Don’t by Carl Perkins!
